Badminton : Saina Nehwal wins Indonesia Masters title

Indian badminton star Saina Nehwal has won the title of Indonesia Masters. In the final, they had a 3-time world champion, Carolina Marin, but Marin got hurt during the match and he had to withdraw from the match. This way Nehwal was declared the winner.

At the time when Carolina Marin got hit on the leg, Saina Nehwal was running behind him 4-10. Although the match was not completed due to Marin's unfortunate injury, Saina became the winner. This is the first BWF title of Saina Nehwal since 2017. Earlier in 2017, he won the title of Malaysia Masters.

However, Saina Nehwal was not happy with her victory. He said that I am not happy with the way I won the title today. However, by the way in which I have made a lot of competition and I have made it to the final, I am really happy about that matter. Saina said that Carolina Marin was going ahead of me in the final match and I wanted to fight hard. I wanted to see what kind of match goes ahead. But what happened to Marin is unfortunate. I am feeling sorry for them.

Saina further said that I too was troubled by injuries. I have been battling for the last two years and whenever I do something like this, I feel very sad. It has a lot of psychological impact. When I got hurt in the knee, then I was very disappointed because it happened to me just before the Olympics. So I know how such situations happen.

It is noteworthy that soon after Marin's injury, Saina ran away to her and saw her condition.
